Our 100% grass fed and finished rolled rump roast makes incredible roast beef. It’s the perfect cut for Sunday dinner with the family.

Rump roast is cut from the sirloin portion of the steer, which is located near the back hip. This cut consists of lean muscle covered in a rich fat cap. While roasting, the fat melts into the meat to make it tender without tasting too fatty. 

Rump roast is best when roasted to an internal temperature of around 135°. We recommend roasting in a low oven to give the muscles time to break down and become tender. To serve, slice the roast into thin slices and top with your favorite gravy. 

Each McElroy Farms Rolled Rump Roast weighs about three pounds which is enough to feed five to six people.
