We pre-tenderize our round steak to break up some of the connective tissue and tough muscle fibers so that all you have to do is cook and enjoy it. This lean steak is full of the nutrients that can only be found in 100% grass-fed and finished beef. Tenderized round steak is traditionally used to make Swiss Steak. We also like to use it to make country fried steak or you can just sear it off in a hot pan and serve with your favorite sides. Tenderized steaks are best cooked closer to medium. Each McElroy Farms tenderized round steak weighs roughly two pounds which is enough to serve four people.
