Our 100% grass-fed and finished beef sirloin steak is a perfect lean option for healthy weeknight dinner.This steak is cut from the beef sirloin, which is the muscle near the back hip of the steer. It is very lean and has a medium grain, which makes it easy to cook and not too chewy. Our herd moves daily from pasture to pasture which gives the beef a distinct flavor. Because the sirloin is so lean, we recommend marinating this steak before cooking it hot and fast on the grill or in a pan. Marination helps begin to break the muscle fibers down and contributes to a more tender bite. Aim for an internal temperature no higher than 135° and cut your sirloin across the grain for best results with this steak.Each McElroy Farms sirloin steak weighs three quarters of a pound which is enough to feed one to two people.
