Chuck roast makes the most perfect pot roast, and, if you put it in the InstantPot or slow-cooker, it practically cooks itself!

Cut from the chuck or shoulder portion of our 100% grass-fed and finished beef, this roast consists of a group of marbled muscles bound together with inter-muscular fat and connective tissue. This is one of the most flavorful cuts on the whole steer. 

Chuck roast needs to be cooked low and slow in order for the fat and connective tissue to fully melt into the meat and make the entire dish nice and tender. It is great cooked in a slow cooker or InstantPot and will perfume your house for hours if you cook it in the oven in a dutch oven.

Each McElroy Farms Chuck Roast weighs roughly three pounds which is enough to serve six or more people.
