Our 100% grass-fed and finished beef tenderloin is a special occasion steak that’s as good for the planet as it is tender and delicious!The beef tenderloin is a long, lean muscle that runs along the spine towards the back of the steer. It is rarely used which means that the meat is incredibly tender and has a nice mild, beefy flavor. Our beef tenderloins are cut into steaks before being packaged. Because they are so lean, beef tenderloin steaks should be seared quickly in a very hot pan or on the grill. You want to get a nice crust on the outside of the steak without overcooking the inside. For a medium rare finish, aim for an internal temperature of around 130 degrees. These steaks are so delicious that all they need in terms of seasoning is some salt and pepper.
